Charity insurance
Our Charity Shield policy provides you with all the protection you would expect from a reliable insurer, so you can concentrate on running your organisation.
Property – protection for your premises, contents and stock against damage from causes including fire, explosion, storm, flood, falling trees, vandalism, escape of water, vehicle impact and theft. The cover can also be extended for contents that are away from the premises.
Equipment Breakdown -- cover for equipment including boilers, lifting equipment, central heating or air conditioning systems, security and sound systems, computers, photocopiers and other office equipment.
Loss of Income – your income can be reduced if there is damage to your premises or those surrounding you, failure of public utilities, discovery of vermin or pests, a notifiable disease, food poisoning, murder or suicide. The policy protects you against this loss of income.
Liability – the policy covers you for damages and legal costs if you are legally responsible for causing bodily injury or damage to property.
Charity Trustee Insurance -- limited cover for the personal liability of trustees, officers, employees or voluntary workers, which can be extended.
Legal Expenses -- cover for legal fees, compensation awards or appeal costs arising from a wide range of legal disputes that you may become involved in.
Money – cover for business money that is lost or stolen from your premises, your home, an employee’s home or whilst in transit.
Assault – cover for you, your employees or volunteers if you suffer an assault during a theft of money.
Fidelity -- protection for you against the loss of money or goods resulting from the dishonesty of employees and volunteers.
Goods in Transit -- if your organisation is involved in the distribution of stock we will cover your goods in transit.
Personal Accident – you can extend your policy to provide benefits when you, your employees or authorised volunteers suffer accidental bodily injury.
