Community Shield insurance
Our Community Shield policy provides you with the protection you would expect from a reliable insurer, so you can concentrate on running your organisation - whether you are a community group, recreational club or other not-for-profit organisation.
Liability – the policy covers you for damages and legal costs if you are legally responsible for causing bodily injury or damage to property. This is the main concern of most small groups and in many cases you will be asked to show you have cover when you book a church hall or other venue. There is even an optional extension that covers the legal liability of any one member of the insured group or organisation to any other member - this is known as 'member to member' cover.
Property – protection for your equipment or other property belonging to you against accidental loss or damage.
Money – cover for the group's money that is lost or stolen.
