Our Hotel & Guest House policy provides you with all the protection you would expect from a reliable insurer, so you can be open for business.
Contents – protection for your trade contents and stock against damage from causes including fire, explosion, storm, flood, falling trees, vandalism, escape of water, vehicle impact and theft.
It also gives you protection for employees’ and guest’s personal effects, accidental damage to underground pipes and services, replacement locks when keys are stolen and an automatic seasonal increase around Christmas and Easter Day.
Loss of Income – your income can be reduced if there is damage to your premises or those surrounding you, a notifiable disease, food poisoning, discovery of vermin or pests, accidental failure of public utilities, murder or suicide. The policy protects you against this loss of income.
Money – cover for business money that is lost or stolen from your premises, your home, an employee’s home or whilst in transit. It also covers damage to a safe on the premises during a theft.
Assault – cover for you and your employees if you suffer an assault during a theft of money.
Liability – the policy covers you for damages and legal costs if you are legally responsible for causing bodily injury or damage to property.
Glass – cover for the breakage of glass including the cost of temporarily boarding up your premises.
Buildings – if you own the premises you occupy or are required to insure them under your lease your policy can be extended.
Frozen Food – you can extend your policy to protect you in the event of breakdown or damage to a refrigerator, freezer, cold room or store, causing a loss of stock.
Accidental Damage – your premises, contents and business equipment can all be covered against accidental damage.
Loss of Licence – this covers you for depreciation in value of your interest in the business in the event of the liquor licence being forfeited or renewal being refused.
Subsidence – you can extend your policy to cover you against subsidence.
