Insurance scoop top insurance award
Methodist Insurance recently scooped
The Claims Initiative of the Year Award at the
inaugural presentation of the Manchester Insurance Awards by The
Chartered Insurance Institute.
Amidst competition from other, much larger
Insurance organisations including Royal & Sun Alliance, Methodist
Insurance were award the accolade for their Church initiative
with the SmartWater security coding system which is providing
a deterrent against the theft of metal from Churches around the
country.
In making the presentation, Alan Cleary
past President of the CII said, “The judges were looking
for an insurance initiative which would benefit both the Insurer
and the customer alike. Methodist Insurance’s SmartWater
initiative within the Methodist Church matched both these criteria
and as such were worthy winners of the Claims Initiative
of the Year Award.””
