Our Ministers’ Shield policy provides you with all the protection you would expect from a quality home insurance policy plus much more.

Buildings and Contents – your buildings and contents will be covered against damage from a wide range of causes including fire, explosion, storm, flood, falling trees, malicious persons, subsidence, escape of water, vehicle impact and theft.

Automatic cover will also be provided for household removal, accidental damage to underground services (including the cost of clearing blockages), glass and sanitaryware, personal computers and home entertainment equipment.

There will be cover for replacement of keys/locks, tracing and repairing leaks, accidental loss of oil or water and freezer contents. Trees and shrubs and items moved to the garden are also included.

You can also extend the policy to cover accidental damage to your home and contents.

As a Minister or Deacon you also get additional protection for business equipment and office furniture, at your home, church premises or elsewhere.

Extra cover for any guests residing with you overnight, transitional cover and household removal (including cover for brittle items) whilst you move home and cover for vestments, clothing and household linen on a new for old basis are all included.

Personal Money – If you insure Contents your personal money will be covered automatically.

Portable possessions – the policy can cover your valuables and personal possessions whilst they are away from the home.

Students – if you have a son or daughter away at college or university, the policy will cover contents whilst in student accommodation or whilst being taken to or from the accommodation.

Liability – the policy covers you for damages and legal costs if you cause accidental bodily injury or accidental damage to property, including injury to any domestic employee.

Touring Caravans & Boats – if you own a touring caravan or a boat your policy can cover that too!

Sentinel® Credit card registration & notification service is provided automatically with your policy.

Family Legal Protection – there is even legal expenses cover provided by DAS Legal Expenses Insurance Company Ltd.
