If you are planning to undertake alterations or extension works to your church, then you must ensure that adequate insurance is in place for the duration of the works.
For the vast majority of building contracts, the terms and clauses specify who has responsibility to insure the works in progress and materials on site.
You should speak to your architect about this, and if necessary you should supply full details to us by completing one of our Alteration and Extension proposal forms.

Once we have the full details we can advise you on whether an additional premium is payable and supply you with the appropriate documentation.
At all times you should only deal with reputable contractors and insist on seeing evidence of their Public Liability insurance.
