A No, established in 1872, Methodist Insurance is the oldest denominational insurance company in the UK and the largest insurer of Methodist churches and
property both here and in the Republic of Ireland. We are a Public Limited Company owned by shareholders and independent of the Methodist Church.
However for over 130 years Methodist Insurance has provided insurance protection to the Methodist Community and has built up a strong partnership with
the Methodist Church and its associated organisations.
